2024 Movie 'Decibel' OST

The 2024 Decibel OST album features Cha Eun-woo's "'Sailing' NEW LOVE SAILING (JamTune)," a reinterpretation of the credit song from the movie 'Decibel' with a new sensibility, as its title track. This album contains legendary remakes such as "TIMELESS," "If This Is the Case," and "Loner," which were included in the first Decibel OST album and delivered deep emotion and inspiration, as well as many other great songs.

Track 1. 'Sailing' NEW LOVE SAILING(JamTune) (Cha Eun-woo(ASTRO))

Cha Eun-woo received much attention and love for his serious and outstanding performance as a naval submarine acoustic detection petty officer in the urban terror action movie 'Decibel' directed by Hwang In-ho, which was released in 2022. He clearly showed composure and decisiveness even in dramatic situations, and his character added tension, leaving a strong impression on the audience with his deep emotional lines and appealing acting. He also participated as the singer of the OST "Sailing" in the movie, delivering a warm impression. In 2024, Cha Eun-woo presents a new version of "Sailing" called "'Sailing' NEW LOVE SAILING (JamTune)" with a new sensibility, and we look forward to much love once again.

While the original version of "Sailing" gave a refreshing and clear watercolor-like feeling with bright lead guitar playing and a flowing drum rhythm, "'Sailing' NEW LOVE SAILING (JamTune)," which was reborn as a band-style version, is filled with refreshing and free energy with a faster tempo. From the beginning of the song, Cha Eun-woo's soft and sweet voice blends with the piano, approaching like a whisper and making hearts flutter. The melodies of the strings and guitar that follow further enhance the delicate emotional lines. In the latter half, the wild improvisation of the electric guitar passionately decorates the finale, giving the feeling of falling into a movie. From the gradually permeating calm melody to the intensely unfolding development, it vividly depicts a spectrum of various emotions, captivating the listener's heart.

Track 2. Survive (about his chronicle)

"Survive," in which singer-songwriter about his chronicle participated as a vocalist, writing, composing, and arranging, shows a dramatic effect with a combination of orchestras and various sound effects that express deep colors, giving the feeling of screaming in dark despair. The performances of organs and brass instruments, which are often used in opera and musical genres, make the atmosphere even more fantastic.

Track 3. Loner (Feat. Nam Do-hyun) (Rolling Quartz)

"Loner" is a song created by composer Kim Do-hoon (RBW) and Lee Sang-ho, who have produced numerous hit songs in the Korean popular music scene, and sung by the original artist, the 4-member male rock band CNBLUE, and is still loved by many. The newly arranged remake "Loner (Feat. Nam Do-hyun)" features the solid musical skills and brilliant vocals of the 5-member female hard rock band Rolling Quartz. The harmony of exploding electric guitar, bass, and drums is fantastic. Above all, Nam Do-hyun from Idol Produce 101 takes on the rap, and his talent, which encompasses the musical flow of rap and rock (metal), enhances the completeness of this song.

Track 4. Thinking While Looking at the Autumn Sky (Jin Sun-mi Hee-ah LOVE) (FISTBUMP)

FISTBUMP is a young male 4-member rock band that has honed their skills through active activities such as communicating with fans globally through solo performances in Osaka, Japan, and JEFF performances. Their golden autumn story "Thinking While Looking at the Autumn Sky (Jin Sun-mi Hee-ah LOVE)" doubles the emotion of the autumn mood as the medium-tempo lyrical melody and lyrics blend with the rock voice of lead vocalist Jangbin.

Track 5. TIMELESS (KyungseoYeji, Cha Gageul)

As the first remake version of "TIMELESS" by SG Wannabe, the best ballad group in the mid to late 2000s, which has become a legendary song in the music industry, the attractive and rich tones of talented ballad duo KyungseoYeji and the clear and pure voice of delicate emotional Cha Gageul present the excitement of autumn. The musical flow of the "TIMELESS" remake version, which mixes R&B's unique beat and genre ballad, stands out with the restrained simplicity and depth of their own emotions and Groove. In addition, Park Geun-tae, a hit song maker of Korean popular music, the original composer and producer, is in charge of arrangement as well as producing, so attention cannot help but be focused on the remake "TIMELESS" reinterpreted with their vocals.

Track 6. If This Is the Case (Jeon Gun-ho)

"If This Is the Case" is a medium-tempo ballad created by composer and producer Park Geun-tae and lyricist Kang Eun-kyung, who have created numerous masterpieces in various genres of Korean popular music, and is a hit song sung by artist Ivy that stayed on the music charts for a long time. The remake "If This Is the Case," which has been reborn with the feeling of Jeon Gun-ho's complete emotion, deeply colors the hearts of listeners with an even deeper emotion. Jeon Gun-ho sings as if confessing calmly about his lingering feelings for a past love that cannot be erased with an appealing tone. In particular, his voice becomes more and more mournful towards the end, and the lyrics that pour out the pain of parting without exaggeration increase the immersion of the song.

Track 7. Girl (I promise) (Randy)

"Girl (I promise)" is a song created by Kim Tae-won of Boohwal, a legend of Korean rock, a guitarist, lyricist, and composer, and was loved by the first-generation 3-member idol boy group Speed. 

This legendary song has been remade and reinterpreted with Randy's operatic baritone voice, and Randy's simple tenor vocals, which combine a clear and soft guitar melody with a calm piano sound, warmly and comfortably embrace the heart.  Although your heart has turned away from me, it adds faith to the promise that I will cherish the precious memories with you forever. It makes us think about the meaning of eternal love while longing for the girl who left. The remake "Girl (I promise)" will be a gift like an Epilogue that leaves a deep lingering impression.
