■ Product Introduction
Aram Lee [Traveler of the Wind Vagabond]
Aram Lee's first solo full-length album, <Traveler of the Wind Vagabond>, from the unparalleled daegeum player representing South Korea!
<Traveler of the Wind Vagabond> is an album featuring 9 carefully selected tracks from the works Aram Lee has created while active in various genres as a daegeum player, director, and producer. It includes diverse and captivating songs such as 'Traveler of the Wind,' the title track inspired by Indian music; 'Gyeokrimjagyu,' a daegeum solo piece motivated by Hyomyeongseja's poem <Euiduhap 10 Gyeong>; 'Sky Walker,' where the melody of the royal court music Boheoja meets electronic music; and 'Their Path' and 'Story of Two Men,' theme songs from the musical drama <King Jeongjo and Hamlet>.
Meanwhile, the series 'Layered Time and Space,' which musically captures the composer's life stories reflecting on his journey, and 'Remembrance,' a collaboration with composer Jaeil Jung, who he has worked with for a long time, allow listeners to momentarily pause from their current lives and freely float in a space where time stands still.
For this album, Aram Lee collaborated with top-tier soloists actively working in both Korean and international music markets, including Jaeil Jung (E.Guitar), composer for <Parasite> and <Squid Game>; Bomi Kim (Haegeum), member of Jambinai; Minwang Hwang (Janggu, Percussion), member of Black String and Music Group Namu; Joon Lee (Gayageum), CEO of Music Group Seum; Inhwan Choi (D.bass), member of La Ventana and Music Group Namu; and Minyoung Kim (Geomungo), CEO of Reminders.
This is an instrumental album without vocals. It features tracks of varying lengths, from 3 to 15 minutes. We hope that listeners of <Traveler of the Wind Vagabond>, an album that captures global musical idioms based on the deep sounds of the Korean traditional wind instrument daegeum, will have a special time enjoying both familiarity and novelty through the harmonious blend of instruments that unifies differences.
