If the ‘Hwayang Yeonhwa’ series and ‘WINGS’ were narratives about youth and growth, ‘WINGS Outer Story’ is a message of warm comfort and hope to the suffering youth of this era. The title song ‘Spring Day’, with its popular melody that transcends generations, shows BTS’s further expanded musical world. The lyrics, which incorporate Rap Monster and Suga’s personal experiences, contain a warm message that they will not lose hope while waiting to meet a friend who has drifted apart. In particular, Rap Monster took the lead in producing the title song for the first time by composing the song’s main melody. ‘Not Today’ goes one step further from the criticism of the twisted world that BTS has been talking about since their debut, and contains a message to the youth living in the same era to take action together.
