Cellista presents a film music album. This is their second album, following <CELLISTA>, released in 2023 to commemorate their 10th anniversary.
Films spanning eras and genres, such as ‘Schindler's List’, ‘Cinema Paradiso’, ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’, ‘Shiri’, ‘007 Series’, ‘La Boum’, and ‘The Deer Hunter’, are reborn in a unique arrangement featuring 12 cellos.
The album includes ‘Maria Elena’, played when Ah Fei (Leslie Cheung) dances in the film ‘Days of Being Wild’, the theme song of ‘Cinema Paradiso’ composed by film music maestro Ennio Morricone, Gabriel's Oboe from ‘The Mission’, the theme song of ‘Once Upon a Time in America’, ‘Reality’ from the film ‘La Boum’ with its soft and sweet melody, Queen's masterpieces ‘Love of My Life’ and ‘We’re the Champions’, and the thrilling theme songs from the ‘007 Series’. Various film pieces are reinterpreted and presented with the warm and rich tones unique to the cello.
