EPEX's 6th EP Album Prelude of Anxiety Chapter 2. ‘Can We Surrender?’

EPEX is making a comeback with their sixth mini-album Prelude of Anxiety Chapter 2. ‘Can We Surrender?’ 

This album is the final chapter of the debut album ‘Bipolar’, which expressed the complex and precarious emotions of the first anxiety and the beginning of love in adolescence through ‘Prelude of Anxiety’ and ‘Prelude of Love.’ 

It is an album that frankly expresses the dark and anxious realities that boys are facing at the end of their limits, from various factors that force boys to surrender, the current state of school violence that has lost humanity, to the limitations felt during growth and the resulting stories of frustration and hope.

1. Surrender

<Surrender> is a song about all the oppression that forces surrender. It is an impressive song with a heavy yet groovy electric bassline, fast-paced and powerful drum progression, and non-stop development.

2. FULL METAL JACKET*Title

The title track <FULL METAL JACKET> frankly expresses the appearance of school violence and raises awareness of the tragic reality through the dangers of violence and the loss of humanity caused by it. You can feel explosive energy with the combination of bursting guitar sound and heavy bassline.

3. Hit The Wall

<Hit The Wall> is a song that contains the lyrics of children's efforts to set their own standards in situations where they face limitations and to make small cracks in the reality like a high wall that cannot be overcome. It is a hip-hop mix-match song based on EDM with a dreamy synth and dark sound bass mixed in a subtle way.

4. No Roof

<No Roof> is a song that contains the message that even though 'I' am insignificant, I need to have faith in myself, and it starts with an intense and powerful vocal chorus. It is a song characterized by a funky bass and synth.
