(G)I-DLE's seventh mini album [I SWAY]

Last January, (G)I-DLE not only showcased their unique powerful and charismatic stage with the title track 'Super Lady' from their second full-length album, but also achieved the top spot on major domestic music charts with the song '나는 아픈 건 딱 질색이니까' (I Hate Being Sick), recording 'PAK' (Perfect All Kill) for the fourth consecutive time. This time, (G)I-DLE returns with a refreshing summer sensibility and a summer song full of bright energy.

(G)I-DLE's 7th mini album [I SWAY], which will hit this summer, uses the word 'SWAY' to depict the image of enjoying the moments of the season by naturally swaying in harmony with the cool summer breeze, undulating waves, and (G)I-DLE's exciting music. This album, full of the joy of free and relaxed days and the scent of a cool summer, proves (G)I-DLE's wide range of concept digestibility and diverse musical spectrum, regardless of genre.

The title track 'Klaxon' is a summer dance song that announces the arrival of an exciting summer with coolly bursting strings, brass sounds, groovy bass, and rhythmic guitar sounds. The catchy chorus that vocalizes the sound of a car horn and the retro word 'Klaxon' newly imbue a stylish Y2K mood with (G)I-DLE's own color.

Lyrics such as 'Honk honk hit the Klaxon' wittily express the heart of someone who has fallen in love, and the composition of the music video, which is structured like a romance musical, doubles the excitement.

All the songs on this album feature the participation of (G)I-DLE members in writing and composing, solidifying their title as a 'self-producing artist' once again. In particular, 'Neverland,' written solely by members Miyeon and Yuqi, is like a letter from (G)I-DLE to their fandom 'Neverland,' and it delicately captures the journey of (G)I-DLE, who finally met Neverland after passing through countless paths and a time without promise, and the journey that began at that moment. 'Neverland,' a Folk Rock genre with an impressive guitar riff, allows you to glimpse the warm hearts of (G)I-DLE, who want to forget all the tiring and difficult moments they had while running to meet Neverland and dream new dreams together.

In addition, the second track 'Last Forever' is a self-composed song by member Yuqi, which sings about the footsteps of (G)I-DLE, who have been running tirelessly for the past 7 years. It contains the passion for the dream that has been cherished without change until reaching the current position, and the earnest desire that (G)I-DLE's hopes and wishes will be fully conveyed through this song even after time passes. You will be able to hear (G)I-DLE's sincere story on top of the refreshing guitar sound and exciting rhythm. The third track 'Bloom' was written and composed by member Minnie and is an Easy Pop genre song full of funky rhythm and bouncy charm. The romantic and witty vocals placed on top of an easy and pleasant groove evoke the nostalgia of the season when love is about to bloom.
