IVE THE 1st EP ALBUM  

IVE, which has become a unique noun in K-pop that cannot be replaced, is once again heralding the moment of climax. It is the beginning of an interesting change led by those who hold the initiative with expressions and performances derived from confidence, and music that confirms their identity. There is no hesitation in expressing themselves. IVE's graph is being drawn more and more clearly.

IVE's first mini-album, , which has become a syndrome in itself, flexibly crosses between their unique color and unconventional changes. The new image presented by IVE is impressive in that it makes you feel a theme that is entirely beyond music. The message of self-affirmation remains the same, and the attempt at diversity that goes beyond all expectations will satisfy more than everyone's expectations. 

Triple Title Song - IVE's Infinite Variation 

Through this album, IVE tells the diverse images of 'self' viewed from various perspectives. They deliver an infinitely expanded message through the three title songs that express me seen from the perspective of others ('Either Way'), me discovered by each other ('Off The Record'), and another me that I found ('BADDIE'). The way of expressing it is also diverse. It stimulates curiosity from a girl's point of view, or draws empathy by touching delicate emotions. The concept of each of the three titles is developed according to the mood and style of each song, and it evokes interest by showing different styles and moods. 

The pre-released title track 'Either Way' sings about me who is not free from the eyes of others. Starting with a dreamy synth, it creates a lyrical atmosphere, and is combined with the members' emotional vocals to create empathy. Singer-songwriter Sunwoo Jung-a was in charge of the lyrics, "Let's find the real me in the misunderstanding caused by the eyes of countless others," and drew a picture of us in an ironic modern society. 

Another pre-released title track, 'Off The Record', expresses IVE's way of love more familiarly. 'Seo Ji-eum', who started with IVE, participated in writing the lyrics, and expressed the story of girls who are curious about love on a deep night when no one is asleep. The attractive 'Off The Record', in which the colorful tones of the members harmonize on a rhythmic beat, depicts IVE's secret night conversations with vivid emotions, as if reminiscent of a scene from a musical film, and delivers the fun of listening and watching by expressing curiosity and bold imagination that can only be felt at that moment before becoming an adult. 

The last title track, 'BADDIE', overturns everyone's expectations. It is a song with a dark charm presented by the cool and bold IVE, presenting a completely 'different me' while conveying the message of 'self-affirmation', which is the same as IVE's identity. BIG Naughty participated in writing the lyrics, and the intense trap beat and unique electric bass sound are impressive, overwhelming the atmosphere with a simple but full sound. The addictive hook and the powerful rap of the members are enough to feel the unique charm of IVE that has never been seen before. 

The first mini-album unfolds an image of unpredictable and infinite expansion while maintaining the unique color that IVE has shown so far. The penetrating message remains the same. It is a story about 'me' whose original charm is revealed even if I talk about my feelings directly and don't try to hide them. The confident expressions, the style that sniped everyone's tastes, and the still stylish IVE syndrome are in progress.
