Sharpened colors - new music of conviction, storytelling of 'emotion' and 'empathy'

'K-pop's unique presence,' IVE aims for another peak moment with new music filled with conviction. Based on 'assertive confidence,' an identity symbolizing IVE, a distinct charm has been added to the team's color. The music has become more solid, and their dignified gestures and confident attitude remain unchanged. It's the beginning of another transformation born from self-assurance.

It is also impressive how they continuously explored connections with various genres while maintaining their original color. While still telling stories about 'myself,' this album stimulates emotional curiosity from a more mature perspective. This new, perceptible change, IVE's unpredictable new style, will thus expand infinitely.

 

Love and Understanding... Maximization of expanded 'Empathy' <IVE EMPATHY>

If previous works depicted IVE's image filled with self-love, this time, they evoke 'empathy' from various perspectives. In a mature yet unique way. While maintaining IVE's unwavering assertiveness, they gain the 'empathy' of the 'era' and 'generation' through their music and performances. The members have also crafted a narrative of becoming one by embodying their respective characters.

The title track 'REBEL HEART' emphasizes 'camaraderie,' aiming for comfort and empathy. It depicts the solidarity march of 'rebels' with diverse narratives, harmonizing colorful vocal harmonies with an uplifting chorus. Sweet strings combined with uptempo drums create a rich sound. The comforting lyrics, along with the majestic sound, create a subtle sense of reversal.

"I'll decide my mood," undeniable self-assurance... IVE's ‘ATTITUDE’ as 'Diva'

The double title track 'ATTITUDE' is about unchangeable situations, where the only thing that can be changed is one's "attitude" towards accepting them. It's a song that expresses the "joyful" acceptance of unchangeable circumstances, reaffirming IVE's confident charm filled with self-assurance. Notably, it samples Suzanne Vega's 'Tom’s Diner,' featuring a powerful, unforgettable melody. Its retro vibe also evokes a sense of contemporary empathy. Additionally, Seo Ji-eum, member Jang Wonyoung, and 'REBEL HEART' lyricist Nietzsche participated in the lyrics, adding to its completeness.

With its publicly familiar melody, groovy rhythm, and addictive chorus, it's more than enough to showcase their presence. Stronger than the summer heat and clearer and more vivid than winter's cold, it fully conveys IVE's unique energetic vibe.

The third EP <IVE EMPATHY> connects IVE's identity while simultaneously introducing 'empathy' as a new theme. IVE, who has aimed for a complete form rather than a growth-oriented one since their debut, thus expands infinitely into a new world.
