IVE THE 4TH EP <IVE SECRET 

IVE re-engineers their image through their fourth mini-album 'IVE SECRET'. 

While maintaining their familiar confidence, they reveal hidden facets and a rebellious attitude within. 

Outer and inner, good and evil, haughtiness and playfulness. IVE wordlessly shows that all these contrasting emotions can coexist within one team. This album focuses on the flow of emotions hidden behind glamorous expressions. 

An emotional line that doesn't neatly fall into place, an identity revealed through attitude rather than words. IVE does not follow a given narrative. Instead, they create their own rules and evolve into a more multifaceted team within them.

XOXZ, The Cipher of an Identity that Needs Deciphering

The title track ‘XOXZ’ is a track that cross-edits the textures of classic hip-hop and pop. The low-pitched rap and minimalist vocal harmonies unfolding over 808 bass, brass, and heavy drums are impressive. Even without speaking of love, an instinctive attitude and direct energy allow emotions to flow like a cipher. The title ‘XOXZ’ is not just a sequence of symbols. This unexplained symbol hints at the style and confidence of someone who breaks existing rules. An attitude that doesn't embellish emotions, doesn't state answers, and defers judgment. This song expresses identity through precisely these unfamiliar combinations.

‘XOXZ’ means ‘I love you, good night. And see you in my dreams.’ The ‘XOXZ’ music video portrays a world unraveled in ‘my own way,’ inviting ‘myself’ into a secret dream world created in ‘my desired way,’ without rules or reality, through three-dimensional and diverse scenes.

Emotions as Narrative, IVE's Multifaceted Characters

'IVE SECRET' is an album composed of six songs, but each functions as an independent emotional fragment and a connected narrative. ‘GOTCHA (Baddest Eros)’ is a song where provocative sound and playful attitude coexist, twisting rules to create a new order. ‘Wild Bird’ is a declaration of freedom, spreading its own wings beyond control. Suppressed emotions explode within the rhythm. ‘Dear, My Feelings’ is a time to face emotions, gently confronting the inner self, building a quiet yet firm ego. ‘Bbibbik (♥beats)’ cheerfully captures moments of swaying within a digital sensibility. ‘Midnight Kiss’ gently captures the quiet emotional ripples at the end of the day.

All songs are expressed as multifaceted aspects of the team IVE. A structure where different moods and identities coexist without conflict. This is the story IVE can most confidently present now.
