Essay ep.3 (Non-stop version)
<Album Introduction>
“The aesthetics of rest for continuous running and
An experience where everyday life becomes a journey through music.”
Jang Minho has returned with the third installment of his mini-album essay series, [Essay ep.3]. As can be guessed from the physical album and promotional content, the concept of this album is 'travel', but this travel is special. An experience where ordinary everyday life becomes a journey through music. Just as a short break in a daily life that requires constant running is a time for recharging, the 1 year and 1 month until this new album was a period of preparation for a new leap forward, making the word 'gap' meaningless.
New challenges are also part of the journey. The title track and pre-release track of a new genre that has never been shown before allow you to fully feel Jang Minho's new charm that we did not know. Also, the songs that listeners of the previous essay series were satisfied with were not left out. From songs that cross over Korean traditional music, ballads, and dance to Jang Minho's self-composed songs that show a high level of musicality with a passion for continuous creation. This Essay ep.3, which boasts collaboration with splendid producers, contains a total of six tracks.
One more reason why Essay ep.3 is special. The keywords of travel are hidden like cookies in the album. Among the versions of the physical album, Stop-over contains concept photos of Jang Minho's natural appearance taking a break overnight at a travel destination, and the Non-stop version contains tense artistic concept photos mainly in black and white. In addition, Jang Minho's handwritten album commentary, which is a feature of the Essay series, is included to increase the desire to own it.
A journey beyond time and space, Essay ep.3.
1. Fifty (五十) Fifty
Jang Minho's new self-composed song that shows a high level of musicality in every album. This easy-listening ballad compares the journey of life to a mountain, and contains the story of the days that have passed and the story of the remaining half at the half (半) of the complete journey of one hundred (百). The listener's age may change, but in the end, the past and future days are equal to everyone. Jang Minho's emotional vocals calmly support everyone's brilliant tomorrow.

The first collaboration between hit song maker producer Lee Hyunseung/lyricist Kang Eunkyung and Jang Minho. A new genre challenge was attempted with fresh melodies and witty lyrics. The joy of meeting a perfect match, a fateful partner, cannot be compared to anything. From the blues dance genre to the rhythm of SuzieQ added to the song to the addictive choreography, we are confident that it will give listeners a unique and enjoyable experience.

The first collaboration between Oh Taeho, the lyricist and composer of 'Between Love and Friendship', and Jang Minho. A medium-tempo, cheerful ballad song with comfortable melodies and poetic lyrics. 5. Let’s Live
Another work by lyricist Lee Yonggu and composer Lee Dongcheol, a Korean traditional slow song where you can fully enjoy Jang Minho's unique color. In the unfortunate reality of forgetting what is truly important while being conscious of others and the world, it contains a life philosophy of hoping to live without losing self-love. The atmosphere of the song was further heightened through the Daegeum, Haegeum, and Gayageum sessions in the beautiful Korean traditional sound.
