Jenna Eun's first full-length album [How Geniuses Fall], How Geniuses Fall
Pianist and singer-songwriter Jenna Eun is back with a new work after 4 years. In 2019, she was selected for the Naver Musician League album release project and debuted with the band YEVEN. In the same year, she went to study abroad as the first president's full scholarship student selected by Berklee College of Music and CJ Culture Foundation. Since then, in 2021, she debuted as a solo artist under the name Jenna Eun, releasing the EP <how are we to live> and an online exhibition.
Jenna Eun, who has been working as a performer and arranger in Korea and the United States for the past few years, is releasing her first music and first full-length album <How Geniuses Fall> after completing her studies and returning to Korea. This work, titled 'How Geniuses Fall', is like a memoir containing the stories of her past 20s, and an album that captures the moments when 'the illusion of the specialness of my existence collapses' that anyone experiences. It contains 10 tracks that are pop music with influences from jazz and electronic music, while also firmly establishing her identity as a pianist.
This album is the result of the [Jenna Eun Vol. 1, How Geniuses Fall] project held on the crowdfunding platform Tumblbug. It greatly exceeded the target amount and succeeded in funding, and the album, MD, and website production were carried out together. You can find lyrics, song descriptions, and in-depth album stories at
www.howarewetolive.com, which recreates the physical album and its contents on the web with the concept of 'online liner notes'.
