Joochan, who has been consistently loved for his stable vocal ability and delicate expressiveness as the main vocalist of Golden Child, performing on various stages such as OSTs and musicals, announces a new beginning as a solo artist after group activities.

The title track of his first solo single album, 'Rise & Shine,' is a POP-ROCK genre-based band sound song, featuring a popular melody that listeners can resonate with and an impressive narrative filled with overwhelming emotions. It sings of the memories of 'us' who supported each other through difficult times, while also containing a message of hope for 'us' in the future, who will shine even brighter. Hong Joochan's deeply appealing voice blends perfectly, painting a scene of the most brilliant youth.

Meanwhile, 'Rise & Shine' was a surprise hidden track unveiled at his first solo fan meeting, [Joobitsbam: Hidden Track], successfully held last September. The live performance garnered enthusiastic responses from fans, heightening anticipation for its release.

This single album includes not only the title track but also solo songs that allow listeners to trace Joochan's musical journey. From his first solo song 'Problem Child' released in 2019 to his second remake song 'How About You' in 2024, the album compiles his previously released tracks, looking back at his past journey and foreshadowing a new path forward.
