Daegeum player Kim Jin-wook is a performer who places importance on the sound of tradition and engages in creative activities, valuing the essence of the daegeum sound.
Currently, he is active as a member of the creative Korean traditional music group Bulsechul and as the assistant principal member of the Seongnam City Traditional Music Orchestra, engaging in various performances including traditional and creative music.
He won the Presidential Award at the 27th Onnara Korean Traditional Music Competition and has also won awards at the 21c Korean Music Project and the Jeonju International Sori Festival.
