Kwon Soon-kwan EP [The Traveler]
Amidst short, consumptive trends, a long-breathed reflection that re-questions the meaning of life.
A musical essay about life's journey, which seemed coincidental yet felt like fate.

Curtains soaked in the thin night, the lazy moon's song fills the stillness. Two people lean into the gently floating music, clumsily taking their first dance steps. The darkness rather illuminates our vulnerability, and your and my awkward movements have already begun a dreamlike, languid journey.
Moonlight embraces darkness, and sunlight pushes it away. The more brilliant our season together, the more the darkness that embraced us slowly shatters and flies away. I finally send you down a diverging path, waving with a brightly forced smile, and stare blankly at this now unfamiliar road. And I walk. Sometimes, with a drunken stagger, lost in memories.
On streets where regrets wander like shadows, sometimes the scent of that night drifts by. Today, memories that shattered and flew away from the top of that high, endless tower cascade down through the curtains of darkness. Lest anyone see, I quietly pick up the fragments of memories scattered on the floor and tuck them into my pocket.
Memories, accumulated unnoticed, swell and flow like a river. I finally mend your memories to build a small boat and launch it onto that river. And then I head towards that diverging path, perhaps where I should have returned long ago. To the path that leads to you, to that night.
