LA POEM Single Album [MIRROR]

LA POEM takes on easy-listening, proving their limitless musical spectrum. If their previous work 'Poem (시·詩·POEM)' laid the foundation for the 'Vocal Avengers,' this time they showcase new charms through 'MIRROR.'

'MIRROR' is an album that encapsulates the will of a self trapped in a maze-like room of mirrors to blossom amidst endless challenges. Through the double title tracks '미로(Mirror)' and 'Rose,' it portrays contrasting atmospheres while sensuously expressing the yearning for goals as if it were a love story.

The title track '미로(Mirror)' likens a perilous challenge to a maze made of mirrors, depicting a precarious man lost and wandering within it. It features a sophisticated deep house-based beat, an addictive chorus, and LA POEM's delicate vocal variations. Lyricist Seo Ji-eum, known as a 'hit song maker,' and Norwegian composers Anders Nilsen, Iselin Solheim, and Andre Jensen reunite after IVE's representative song <After Like> to capture attention once again. Notably, Seo Ji-eum maximized LA POEM's strength in storytelling by interpreting "미로" (maze) and "Mirror" with double meanings.

The other title track, 'Rose,' contains the message of achieving one's goals despite the pain of being pricked by thorns, featuring fatal lyrics and a luscious atmosphere. It is an impressive alternative R&B-based pop song with restrained and heavy strings, strong and sharp electric guitars, and LA POEM's splendid harmonies. Renowned K-pop producer and singer-songwriter BrotherSu and Kim Jin-ah (Jina) reunite for 'Rose' after LA POEM's 'Anchor' released last year, bringing out LA POEM's unique charm.
