Careless, Careless, and Careless
"Careless, Careless, and Careless," Min Gwangjin's 1st album, is a deeply introspective work. This is evident in his straightforward lyrics, which unfilteredly reveal constant friction with himself and the world. His rock-based songs were completed under the guidance of producer Seo Sang-wook (8th Theater). Seo Sang-wook's musical talent, matured through 8th Theater's five albums, breathed life into Min Gwangjin's music, fueled by their shared memories. The lyrics and melodies, with appropriate embellishments, began to dance among the instruments. The dramatic steps of the title track "Eels Find Dreams in the Blue Sea," the sharp expression of "I've Decided, What Is It?", and the melancholic hand gestures of "Bye Bye Birthday" are performances that only these two could create. It's as if they've captured the moment when life, an unknown variable, aligns within a human being. We invite you to experience the raw imagery, rock sound, and the burning psychedelia they have brought to life.
Photographer Lee Jae-ho contributed as the cinematographer for the cover and CD design, while Kim Chan-min, active as a film director and singer, was responsible for the album design. The cover, featuring Lee Jae-ho's raw photography complemented by Kim Chan-min's sensitive design, adds to the intrinsic depth of the album "Careless, Careless, and Careless."
