Movning Album Vol. 1 <ADAM>
Hello. This is Movning.
It's been 9 years since our debut, and we are releasing our first full-length album.
If there are times when I suffer, the cause is usually 'because I don't like myself.'
I think I suffered entirely because of myself, without being forced by anyone to do anything.
This is probably because the standards of the 'good person' I want to be and the greed for 'doing well' were further away than my current self.
The backpack I carried myself towards the place I wanted to go was heavier than I thought.
From some point on, I couldn't even remember where I started.
No one pushed me, but when I saw myself adrift on a deserted island,
the feeling of futility, emptiness, despair...
It was difficult to look at and accept 'me' without avoiding or covering it up.
While making the album, I was able to break out of the isolated world of 'me' and look at the world where 'we' live, even if only a little.
And I recorded that process as a song.
I recommend thinking of the entire album as one song and immersing yourself in the music and lyrics.
I don't know how my perspective on the world will change in the future, but I plan to record it every time.
Please enjoy the whimsical records of a 30-year-old human in 2024.
