"'Next Z(G)eneration', NEXZ"
JYP Entertainment's (hereinafter JYP) new boy group NEXZ will release its debut single 'Ride the Vibe' on May 20th.
NEXZ shortened the ambition of "opening the next era with the music and performances of the Z generation members" into 'Next Z(G)eneration' and included it in the team name. The seven members, Tomoya, Yu, Haru, So Geon, Seita, Hugh, and Yuki, knock on the hearts of global listeners with music that has a sensual taste.
NEXZ is a group created through the audition program 'Nizi Project' Season 2, a joint venture between JYP and Japan's largest record label Sony Music in 2023, and consists of members who have been recognized for their passion with dance, singing ability, and star quality. The final stage mission song 'Miracle', written and composed by JYP's representative producer and 'Nizi Project' judge Park Jin-young, topped local music sites such as Oricon Daily Digital Single Ranking, iTunes, Line Music, AWA, mu-mo, and Rakuten Music on the day of its release. The Korean version of 'Miracle' also topped the Japanese iTunes K-Pop chart, receiving support as both versions of the song reached the top.
NEXZ, the boy group that JYP is introducing after a long time, starts their own flow with their debut album 'Ride the Vibe'.
