ONF is releasing their 2nd Album Part.1 [ONF:MY IDENTITY] approximately 10 months after their 8th mini-album [BEAUTIFUL SHADOW] released last April, and about 4 years after their 1st full-length album [ONF:MY NAME] released in February 2021.

Having captivated fans both domestically and internationally with their grand narrative, unique live performances, and powerful stages through their 8th mini-album, ONF attempts another transformation with their 2nd Album Part.1 [ONF:MY IDENTITY]. In this album, ONF presents a deeper worldview and music, delivering hope and the strength to move forward to those in darkness, as travelers chasing dreams.

Once again, they collaborated with producer Hwang Hyun, who has been with them since debut, and members Minkyun and Wyatt participated in composing and writing lyrics for the title track and other songs, adding further meaning. In particular, ONF crafts stories that only ‘they’ can tell, based on ‘their’ own standards rather than absolute standards set by the world. The members unleash a synergy of bright energy, showcasing an upgraded musical spectrum, as well as their flawless image as 'performance masters'.

ONF's 2nd Album Part.1 [ONF:MY IDENTITY], offering a glimpse into their complete music and performance, consists of a total of 6 tracks.

First, the title track ‘The Stranger’ is a pop genre song featuring a funky rhythm and impressive vocals that freely traverse a wide range. The theme is “our story of chasing dreams,” where the members’ attractive vocal tones harmoniously blend, showing strong captivating power along with their firm resolve to follow ‘their own path’.

Not only the title track, but the b-sides also boast high completeness. From ‘Night Tale’, which sharply and charmingly depicts a wandering heart, to the R&B track ‘Nothing but a stranger (ON Team Ver.)’ by vocal unit ON Team, conveying unspoken feelings through melody and harmony, to ‘Anti Hero (OFF Team Ver.)’ by performance unit OFF Team, showcasing diverse charms as vivid as the song's brilliant variations, to ‘Good Place’, offering a brief respite in busy daily life, and ‘Collab’, containing a message for fans – this 2nd Album Part.1 is sufficient to solidify ONF's group identity as ‘Only One’.

‘Night Tale’ is an attractive Electro Funk song with a contrasting ensemble created by sharply repetitive Synth Bass and restrained drums. By minimizing instrument usage, it clearly showcases the rhythmic vocals of 'skilled group' ONF.

‘Nothing but a stranger’ is a song by vocal unit ON Team (Hyojin, E-TION, Minkyun), consisting of three vocalists. It's an R&B genre, rarely seen in ONF's previous music. If the melody represents words spoken aloud, the harmony (Chord) expresses unspoken feelings.

Contrary to the calmly delivered words, the countless unresolved dissonant harmonies, which are the heart of this song, blend with unstoppable emotions to express sincerity.
