PURPLE KISS 1st English Album [OUR NOW]
PURPLE KISS 1st English Album [OUR NOW] Release
- Our brilliant happiness bloomed by PURPLE KISS now!
- The moment we meet each other with complete sincerity, PURPLE KISS's ‘OUR NOW’
On August 31, 2025, PURPLE KISS, who has been communicating sincerely with domestic and international fans, will release their first English album [OUR NOW].
This album [OUR NOW] further expands the theme of ‘happiness’ as an extension of [I Miss My…], released last July.
Beyond the individual happiness sought by delving into their inner selves, it now moves towards moments of looking into each other's eyes and sharing inexpressible emotions. The album captures the happiness that blossoms when two pure individuals meet sincerely, without any ulterior motives or conditions, and exchange their hearts. This album, which portrays 'us' now, capable of sharing emotions and stories with just a gaze, deeply embodies the wish for each to be the meaning and happiness in the other's life, regardless of the circumstances.
[OUR NOW] features double title tracks for the first time since their debut, enhancing the album's completeness through two title songs with different atmospheres.
The first track, ‘DOREMI -English ver.-’, reinterprets 'Doremi' not merely as musical notes, but as a magical spell that creates love, unfolding new content rather than a simple translation of Korean lyrics. The second track, ‘WANT U BACK’, tells of an inescapable love, singing of a heart that cannot resist its attraction.
PURPLE KISS hinted at the extension of [I Miss My…] by posing questions about ‘happiness’ through logo motions, similar to their previous second single album. Subsequently, they raised expectations by sequentially releasing the first teaser containing individual stories and the second teaser depicting moments as ‘us’. Finally, the released music video more clearly revealed the meaning of happiness that PURPLE KISS wished to convey. By following the journey from the teasers to the music video, one can empathize more deeply with their story.
In addition, the album includes a total of 8 tracks, featuring 'Unhappily Ever After', which showcases intensity and emotional depth with its captivating string arrangements and powerful 808 bass trap beats, along with 5 English versions of existing title tracks highlighting PURPLE KISS's diverse charms ('Ponzona -English ver.-‘, ‘Zombie -English ver.-‘, ‘memeM -English ver.-‘, ‘Sweet Juice -English ver.-‘, ‘7HEAVEN -English ver.-‘).
