Clean like a soap scent, Let’s Glow Up!

RESCENE has released their second mini album, ‘Glow Up’.

This album, ‘Glow Up’, captures RESCENE's growth story, showcasing positive changes not just in appearance but also in style, confidence, and skill. 

Embodying RESCENE's unique dreamlike and sophisticated sensibility, this album conveys their growth journey through music, expressing the newly transformed ‘me’ and ‘us’ with a clear and clean soap scent.

This album, featuring a total of 5 tracks including the title track ‘Glow Up’, allows listeners to experience RESCENE's more diverse musical color. Through the lyrics of each song, one can feel RESCENE's image of ‘me’ cultivating and shining, and ‘us’ coming together as a team to illuminate each other. 

01. CRASH

This song allows listeners to break free from the past and experience a newly unfolded world, with layered choruses and grand sounds adding to the mysterious atmosphere. Through RESCENE's heartfelt lyrics, it aims to give listeners the courage to run fearlessly and wholeheartedly towards what they love. 

02. Glow Up *title

The title track ‘Glow Up’ is an impressive dance song featuring RESCENE's unique dreamlike and hopeful chorus melody and a catchy hook. The lyrics express RESCENE's fluttering excitement as they anticipate a ‘me’ and ‘us’ that become even more radiant, drawn by scent and following the light. It's a song where the main scent, soap, can be fully enjoyed.

This disco-pop track, blending electric guitar, analog synth, and bass, conveys positive energy, painting a picture of a happy start to the day. Through its repetitive and everyday lyrics, listeners can feel RESCENE's fresh and bright charm.

This R&B track, incorporating Jersey Club rhythms, features a driving rhythm over sophisticated guitar chords. In a mysterious atmosphere, RESCENE's rhythmic and dreamy vocals add a unique color to the song. The lyrics capture the Proust effect, where scents evoke past memories, making it a song everyone can empathize with and reminisce about their cherished past. 

05. Cotton Candy

This smooth R&B pop track stands out with its comfortable funk bass riff and unique hi-hat rhythm, featuring impressive, cozy lyrics that evoke sweet dreams. The world-renowned pop band Dirty Loops participated in the bass and drum performances, enhancing the song's completeness and broadening its musical scope.
