THE BOYZ, the only boys who will awaken you by burning even higher with dazzling flames, will release their ninth mini album [導火線] on October 28th.

Through the three-part series of their previous 2nd full album [PHANTASY], THE BOYZ solidified their unique team identity as 'boys' with their own color of 'fantasy' with various keywords such as excitement, mystery, and emotion based on the big theme of 'We all dream of fantasy'. They proved their potential by renewing their 'career high' records with diverse music and performances. At the same time, they held their third world tour 'ZENERATION Ⅱ', recording sold-out shows for all performances, perfectly proving the presence of 'THE BOYZ'.

THE BOYZ, who have been on a steep rise, achieving remarkable results on the world stage from various album activities that swept domestic and global charts to world tours, intend to continue their momentum aggressively with this 9th mini album [導火線].

The ninth mini album [導火線] is an album that contains THE BOYZ's exploding confidence and ambition to continue to develop by lighting the fuse for a new leap forward. The album [導火線], filled with THE BOYZ's conceptual music and performances, as well as new stories and unique colors that are different from the charms they have shown so far, is enough to become a 'fuse' for their growth, proving their infinite potential in itself.

The title track ‘TRIGGER (導火線)’ of the 9th mini album [導火線] is a song that stands out with a dramatic development from an intense house electro-pop sound to a magnificent hip-hop sound, and with the keyword ‘TRIGGER’, which means ‘fuse’ or ‘opportunity’, it contains the ambition to create great waves and changes in the world with our movements. In addition, through the ‘TRIGGER (導火線)’ music video, they present a perfect combination of rough and explosive visualization and extreme performance, providing intense immersion and different catharsis that you cannot take your eyes off for even a moment.

In addition, ‘Bite Back’, an Afrobeat hip-hop genre song that was first unveiled at the world tour ‘ZENERATION Ⅱ’ and received enthusiastic responses from global fans, ‘bAd’, in which member Q participated in writing the lyrics and adds fun to listening by playfully expressing the nonchalant but unhateable attitude of a childish bAd boy, ‘숨바꼭질 (Slip Away)’, which creates a fascinating mood by expressing the thrilling atmosphere with the person who is making you anxious with tension, ‘Re-Wind’, in which member Eric participated in writing the lyrics and the lovely lyrics are impressive with a lively and unique groove drum beat, and ‘They See Me Dream’, an alternative pop song with an impressive texture of dynamic vocal harmony contrasting with the muted guitar tones, are included.
