The KingDom
Special Album : the flower of the moon
The KingDom, which was the first among 4th generation idols to top the US Amazon Music charts in 5 countries and made it into the top 10 of the Billboard chart "World Digital Song Sales" for 3 consecutive times with its unique worldview, is releasing its first special album. It includes "Hwawolga," a fantastic harmony of Miryang Arirang and K-POP as the title track, "Festival" created by leader Dann, and "Forget" composed by Mujin with lyrics written directly by the members about the stories they want to tell.
The title track "Hwawolga" is a Korean-style K-POP song with Korean traditional music sounds that can be confidently presented to the world. The harmony of Korean traditional instruments such as gayageum, daegeum, kkwaenggwari, and haegeum, as well as the orchestra and The KingDom's voices, spreads magnificently.
The B-side track "Festival" is a Funky driving song that can be listened to pleasantly with its cheerful rhythm and lyrics.
Also, "Forget," written by member Mujin, is a dedication song to the fans, where the members wrote the lyrics for their own parts and sang the stories they wanted to tell to the fans.
The last track, "Hwawolga" (INST), allows you to check how beautiful Korean traditional instruments are in a version without vocals.
This special album by The KingDom deviates from their worldview that has been continued through 8 albums over the past 4 years and contains the stories they really want to tell.
