An innovative idol group. tripleS unveils its 10 members.
For their first debut album, the title track was decided through approximately 57,000 fan votes. Eight songs from various genres were chosen through a tournament-style vote, culminating in 'Rising' as the title track for tripleS's debut album <ASSEMBLE>.
Once a year. For the album <ASSEMBLE>, which holds the meaning of all members gathering together, tripleS's first member Yoon Seoyeon to its tenth member Seo Dahyun united their strengths.
The title track 'Rising' is a story about girls running towards their dreams. In an era where society has become cynical about dreams and mocks those who dare to dream – it sings about how valuable and wonderful it is to run with all your might to achieve a dream.
Relentless beats and dance breaks intertwine to complete 'Rising's' unique and spectacular genre, STAGE POP. Through synchronized dance created under the leadership of choreographer Choi Hyojae, known for NCT and THE BOYZ, tripleS proves why they are a formidable rookie group.
The music video, created with Undermood Film, who collaborated on 'Generation,' connects tripleS's narrative. Through black-painted nails and the next dimension KRYSTAL EYES's phone, it continues tripleS's unique storytelling.
The B-side tracks of <ASSEMBLE>, 'Beam' and 'Colorful,' have a different feel from 'Rising,' expanding the overall spectrum of tripleS. 'Beam' was one of the tracks revealed in the tournament vote and, despite not being chosen by fans, was completed as a high-quality R&B dance track. It showcases the unique musical identity tripleS aims for. 'Colorful' is a straightforward dance-pop number created with a vibrant soundscape, as if natural colors are spreading.
‘The Baddest’ and ‘New Look’ confidently reveal the desires for pretty clothes, flashy items, and self that girls their age possess, without deliberately hiding them. This is a unique tripleS theme, apparent since 'Rolex,' capturing the honest emotions of girls in their music, not just songs about love. To incorporate contemporary sentiment into the sound, G-High of Monotree produced 'The Baddest,' and BADD, as the producer of 'New Look,' elevated its perfection by mixing electronica and retro sounds.
The final track, 'Transcendence (초월),' penetrates the album's theme of 'Rising,' embodying the meaning of wanting to transcend one's own limits.
An idol group of all possibilities. The astonishing future of tripleS, who will grow stronger through creation, growth, and combination, is just beginning now.
