UKISS’s 13th MINI ALBUM [LET’S GET STARTED]
UKISS is back with their 13th mini album [LET’S GET STARTED].
After celebrating their 15th anniversary last year with the release of [The Wonderful Escape], they are reorganized with five members, including Soohyun, Hoon, Kiseop, Alexander, and Eli, and will be releasing a new mini album. The album title [LET’S GET STARTED], like [The Wonderful Escape], conveys UKISS's message of not staying in one place and continuing to move forward.
The title track ‘You Are Everywhere in Me’ is a dance song with a sentimental melody and refreshing Rock sound. Starting with a refreshing sound, the calm introduction gradually builds up, making the heart swell.
The lyrics contain the pain of unrequited love. In particular, the lyrics "Let me not love you," and "I don't need you," while knowing that 'you' are not holding on, are impressive as they deceive and hide themselves from not being able to let go.
Also, the lyrics "Help me" to end this painful unrequited love have two meanings, 'so that I can no longer love you' or 'by being with you', leading the emotions of the song more lyrically.
UKISS, who are now in their 16th year, will attempt a new genre that will fully showcase their accumulated skills, showing their vocal abilities more intuitively and proving UKISS's endless spectrum. In addition, this album includes a remake version of UKISS's timeless classic 'Man Man Ha Ni', delivering good news to K-pop fans.
This mini album, composed of various genres from rock to ballad, makes us look forward to the future activities of UKISS, who have reunited as a five-member group.
