XLOV 2nd Single Album [I ONE]
Last January, XLOV successfully debuted with 'Unfinished love, the various kinds of painful love they experienced', expressing its origins with each member's delicate charm. Continuing the ambitious aspirations of that beginning, they solidify their position as artists with an even hotter and more provocative appearance.
'ONLY, ONLY I'm tryna be your one and only'
In their debut single [I'mma Be], they foreshadowed that our story is just beginning and that it will become thicker and never end, raising expectations for the next level among the public. In XLOV's second story [I ONE], which will meet those expectations, XLOV and all beings around the world are 'irreplaceable' and 'unique' just by existing, and it also aims to capture that 'each of the beauties they have is always burning'.
Hidden messages can be found throughout the single 2nd album [I ONE]. Along with the main message, 'I am the only one in this world', ONE is transformed into "Want," a homonym for wanting, so the album can also be expressed as 'I want', and I.O.N.E is written as l.O.V.E to add the meaning of 'love', trying to add the fun of elements like "wordplay".
In “I ONE”, team producer member “Umuti” participated in writing the lyrics for all songs. There are 6 songs in total, including 3 new songs related to “1”, 1&Only, 1 of LOV, and BIZNESS, which means “one” in Korean, as well as (inst) tracks of each new song.
The title song “1&Only” is an Afrobeat/Afro-pop song with rich pad synths, soft bass, and rhythmic vocals. The lyrics contain XLOV's warm yet confident message to fans and listeners: “Let’s move as our instincts tell us”, “Don’t suppress the burning desire, burn it even more”, “I am unique to you and you are unique to me, don’t hide anything and show me everything as you feel”.
Another song, “1 of LOV,” is an emotional song created by combining Afrobeat, Amapiano, R&B elements, ambient synths, and powerful rogue drums. “To be a helping hand to those who are lost and wandering, and to move forward together towards the destination”,
“If you are with XLOV, from the moment the secrets that you and I have been hiding meet, they wriggle and can no longer be hidden”,
The song's rich emotions are further enhanced by the lyrics, "I won't let go of the hand I'm holding tight no matter what happens in the future."
Finally, the song “BIZNESS” on track 3 is a hip-hop song with minimal and powerful elements that combine the intense elements of 808 bass and the kitsch and energetic chant-style vocals. The lyrics contain XLOV's confident and confident message to those who hate others: "Get out of here", "If there is a seat to support the skirt we want to wear, we will gladly hand it over to you", "Your wish list is just a troublesome business for me."
