YERIN, who has always shown a new side through various changes and challenges, transforms into a magician with abilities in this album. YERIN's ability to make everything broken new and clean makes our past pain and darkness disappear, and it is an album containing the meaning of giving us the courage to gain strength again and live anew. Rewrite contains the story of love, pain, and growth in life, and overcoming all of this, in 6 songs like a drama, step by step.

The title song of the 3rd mini album, 'Wavy', is a song presented to YERIN by the composing team GALACTIKA*, which has hit songs by various artists such as ITZY, WJSN, and Billlie, and is a refreshing house-style song that expresses YERIN's unique bright and bouncy energy. The groovy bass, rhythmic brass section, and splendid string line become one like a wave, and the story of expressing the world dyed like a wave is added with a deeper excitement.

In addition, 'SHINE', a Pop Rock genre song composed of vintage Rock sound guitar and rough-textured drum sound, contains the story of always shining light and giving strength in a world dyed in various colors, and 'Permeate', which contains the story of confusion and wandering as the light disappears and dark blood spreads throughout the body, losing its ability, is a retro pop genre song that reconfigures the funky triplet rhythm composition of the Burlesque style, which is often used in musicals and movies, into a K-pop style.
