■ Product Description
‘Founder of Piano Byeongchang | Choi Jun
Singing a section of traditional Korean vocal music (Pansori, Danga, Minyo, Jeongga) while directly playing the piano, the genre of <Piano Byeongchang> was created for the first time in the world in 2010. As an active pianist and composer, <Choi Jun> has held a total of 18 solo concerts and released 5 full-length albums.
This 6th album, <Broken Piano>, rearranges pieces performed at the Kkumbit Theater in June 2023. It was recorded with a jazz band (bass, guitar, drums) and Western instruments (viola, flute, clarinet, Irish whistle, accordion, percussion), along with the Chinese instrument (Erhu), expressing <Choi Jun>'s unique sensibility as world music that encompasses both Eastern and Western instruments.
