The group DKB releases their ninth mini-album [Emotion], showcasing a more mature musical color and emotion. The album title [Emotion] signifies capturing the various emotional changes encountered in love, completing a spectrum of emotions through diverse genres and narratives.
Presented approximately 1 year and 3 months after their 8th mini-album [Urban Ride], this album [Emotion] explores the theme of love—from ironic excitement, inescapable temptation, freedom and liberation, intense romance, to separation and new beginnings—interpreting it through DKB's unique music, thereby deepening the group's identity. Once again, DKB members directly participated in writing lyrics, composing, and choreographing the entire album, expressing more sincere emotions and individuality.
The title track ‘Irony’ is a pop-rock song featuring an addictive guitar riff, capturing the ambiguous moment when a lover's actions feel like “Is it love, or is it a game?” It powerfully expresses sweet yet confusing emotions, revealing DKB's new charm.
In addition, the album includes a total of 5 tracks: ‘Snake,’ which sings of captivating yet dangerous tension; ‘Weekend,’ depicting the freedom and liberation of a weekend; ‘Cinderella,’ containing a romantic message; and ‘Hello, Goodbye (Rollercoaster),’ which expresses feelings of separation and new beginnings.
