Band GIFT EP [Youth, Fantasy]
The youth I've seen is full of melancholy, but even that seemed beautiful.
This is our first album since all of us turned 30.
Only after reaching our 30s have we been able to convey the stories we truly want to tell.
Lately, we've been contemplating our position a lot.
Where are we in life at our current age?
Our position in the current music scene, our financial standing compared to other friends in their thirties, things like that.
We've been making music together as GIFT for over 7 years, always having the same concerns, but in the end, it always feels like we're just starting.
Even in these uncertain and anxious situations, when we meet and play our instruments together, we feel that each of us becomes clearer.
Each time, even though we've been doing music for 10 years, seeing ourselves approach music with the same heart and feeling as if we're just beginning, led us to believe we can still push forward.
Regardless of our position or age, we will continue to contemplate and restart repeatedly.
We hope this album can be an encouragement to everyone who is starting something new right now.

But watching anime somehow gives me unknown courage and passion.

02. Stay The Same
We reinterpreted a song I wrote when I was very young.
Looking back at my 20s as a 30-year-old, I realized I haven't changed much.
03. Light
Since I was little, I was scared of the dark, so I used to sleep with the light on.
These days I've gotten used to the dark, but I wanted to create music that could be a light for someone, just like the light I relied on when I was young.
04. To You
Sometimes the capacity for sadness overflows, and we can't bear it.
I hope this song can be in the lowest part of your heart, allowing you to bring out the sadness you've kept deep inside whenever that happens.
05. Youth Fantasy
The dictionary definition of youth means 'a green and good time in life,' but the youth I've thought about and seen can never be separated from melancholy.
However, the power this paradoxical word holds is immense, making it eternal.
So that in the future, all of it can be remembered as joyful memories.
06. In Praise of Youth

07. Sixteen
This song was written recalling myself at 16, when I decided to pursue music. I am invincible.
