■ Product Description
Born in Jeonju, GonyBand presents their story [Gosadong238]
At one point, they pursued trendy, sophisticated, and flawless sounds, focusing on tempo control and delicate arrangements. However, their essence cannot be hidden. GonyBand's music differs from the mainstream. Perhaps it might sound a bit rustic. Or, to be frank, it's 'old-fashioned.'
For a while, they were embarrassed by this fact and tried to deny it. But eventually, they had to accept it.
That their unique color lies precisely within that 'old-fashioned' quality.
Once they acknowledged themselves, their hearts felt much lighter. By shedding and emptying, they finally discovered their own unique color, and through that process, they were able to grow one step further.
Thus, [Gosadong238] was born, telling the story of their essence and origin, and the myriad emotions that blossom within. It minimally and simply captures the journey of navigating countless emotions that began with 'me.'
Because it is neither hidden nor adorned, the music is both straightforward and bold, delicate and sincere.
Tempo and pitch correction were minimized, and techniques like doubling were excluded. Instead, the warmth of human touch was fully captured. The unadorned sound was straightforward, and that simplicity brings a deep sense of comfort.
This is the most honest representation GonyBand can offer right now: [Gosadong238].

‘Minimalism’
[Gosadong238] showcases the maximum sound created by four members: vocal, electric guitar, bass, and drums. There are no doubling techniques or chorus tracks commonly used in albums. Another unique characteristic of this album, which focuses on performance and tone with a sound true to its essence, lies in its ‘Alternative’ style. Songs that showed distinct genre tendencies (POP, METAL, etc.) during the arrangement process were boldly rearranged to twist their strong genre characteristics, arming them with new colors. The title track, 'What a call,' prominently displays these characteristics, unconstrained by tradition or form.
01 From me marks the beginning of the album, boldly cutting repetitive verses and encapsulating the album's intended sound and stories in a short but impactful way.
02 Sweet sound of my heart creates the song's atmosphere with repetitive guitar riffs and a loose groove.
03 What a call is the album's title track, possessing a strong rock tendency overall, but twisting the mood with jazz-infused guitar playing.
04 16/30 reinterprets a country style to match the overall album atmosphere and appropriately shifts the mood towards the latter half of the album.
05 Bad taste serves as the album's subtitle, characterized by refreshing vocals and sound, and a catchy melody that maintains popular appeal, providing a pleasant conclusion to the album.
