The music video for KISS OF LIFE's digital single 'Sticky', which contains a refreshing sensibility, received a hot response as soon as it was released, and was ranked on the YouTube domestic popular rising music chart, as well as popular rising video charts in global countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia.
In addition, while ranking at the top of domestic music charts, they also made their name on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales Chart and the Billboard Global 200 Chart, firmly demonstrating their presence as a globally popular trend loved both domestically and internationally. This album [Lose Yourself] interestingly depicts the points where KISS OF LIFE in the title track ‘Get Loud’ and KISS OF LIFE in the pre-release track ‘R.E.M’ meet. The two songs are organically connected with the keyword "immersion" and at the same time, they tell stories about reality and dreams from different directions, providing fun in interpretation.
‘Get Loud’ tells the story of artists who chase dreams in reality and look a little strange. The appearance of being immersed in something may seem eccentric to others, but conversely, it can be seen as attractive and professional. Like the lyrics "This is like a dream that never breaks," it illuminates the shining moments of those who dream while immersing themselves in what they like in reality. In addition, in this music video, the attractive appearance of an artist discovering a new self that I didn't even know in the moment of immersing myself in creation is visually expressed in a unique and trendy way through the medium of "Confetti."
On the other hand, the pre-release song 'R.E.M' is a song about those who want to escape into their dreams because they don't want to face reality. "It's okay just to meet something you wanted even in a dream," they decide, but in the end, they can't erase the desire to face it in reality, not in a dream. ‘R.E.M’, created in collaboration with ‘Cathy Dennis’, who created masterpieces by divas of the 2000s such as Britney Spears and Celine Dion, is a medium-tempo R&B pop genre song that harmoniously blends vintage EP riffs, heavy bass, and modern R&B rhythms. The groovy and mellow topline harmonizes with the members' unique vocals, perfectly recreating the Y2K mood.
