On June 18, 2017, Make a Movie began to etch his story onto music with his first single. Over the past few years, he has built his unique color through singles and double singles. Finally, with his first full-length album [BENJAMIN], he unveils a musical world completed as a single narrative.
[BENJAMIN] is not just a debut work. It is a compilation and declaration of emotions and senses, faithfully capturing the trajectory of Make a Movie, who started as a performer and expanded into music. His past time, including activities with his crew MBA, where he first told stories with his body on stage, is further concretized into a more organic narrative and details in this album.
The entire album was produced by 604LEON, who also participated in EK's full-length album ESCAPE, delicately completing Make a Movie's emotional lines.
In this album, Make a Movie was deeply involved in all tracks, clearly revealing his musical identity and philosophy. He personally directed songwriting, production, and performance, creating a result that goes beyond just an album. The music moves and flows like scenes. Each track connects like an emotional cut, leaving a certain scene in the listener's heart.
[BENJAMIN] is an intimate record of the artist looking back at himself, and a work that captures the emotions of living in this very moment. Joy, doubt, passion, and love again, accumulated through everyday life. All these emotions are framed within music and reconfigured like a movie. The album makes listeners recall their own 'Benjamin' and look back at the scenes of life they casually passed by.
Make a Movie is an artist who understands how music is perfected through the body. [BENJAMIN] is the first 'movie' he has completed, and an intro to a series that will follow.
