Album Introduction
MINIMANI (MINIMANI), conceived by CMG Chorokbyeol, is a two-member female vocal duo with a genre and concept distinct from existing girl groups. The members of MINIMANI are Yoo Soo-hyun and Han Song-yi, and true to their team name, they receive much (MANI) love for their small (MINI), fresh, and lively image. In September 2025, MINIMANI returns with their new song ‘LOCK HIM UP,’ which features girl-crush charm and confident energy. This marks their 6th digital single since their debut in 2021.
MINIMANI's leader, Yoo Soo-hyun, was active as a member of the girl group ‘Delight’ in 2014 and the co-ed group ‘Walwari” in 2019. Recently, she advanced to the 4th round of TV Chosun's ‘Miss Trot 3,’ earning the nickname ‘Trot Bouncy Ball’ and leaving a deep impression on many. Furthermore, MINIMANI's main vocalist, Han Song-yi, is an artist recognized for her vocal and acting skills, having started as a musical actress. She also made it to the finals of KBS's “Noraega Joha” (I Like Songs).
This song is a dance track featuring a lively melody and a highly addictive chorus, humorously and charmingly expressing honest feelings within a relationship. It is an ambitious work by composer Lee Seung-han, famous for ‘Gondre Mandre,’ and is already known to the public, having been covered by many contestants in numerous audition programs. ‘LOCK HIM UP,’ which previously had no official vocalist, has finally found its owners in MINIMANI.
With a powerful yet cheerful beat, MINIMANI's unique vocals and harmonies come together to create a song that instantly lifts spirits. The lively and charismatic performances expected on stage are also raising fans' anticipation.
