NOWADAYS 1st Single [NOWADAYS]

Cube Entertainment's new boy group 'NOWADAYS,' debuting after approximately 8 years, makes their first appearance in the music industry with their 1st single [NOWADAYS].

‘NOWADAYS’ embodies the ambition to be curious about the public's and fans' ‘today (NOW)’ and to create special memories and moments in the ‘daily life (DAYS)’ they will build together. The group name, connected to the 'NOW, A _____ DAYS' logo motion revealed pre-debut, also carries the message of a confident rookie group aiming to embrace various concepts and show unconfined freshness and flexibility.

Comprised of 5 members—Hyunbin, Yoon, Yeonwoo, Jinhyuk, and Siyun—NOWADAYS emphasizes their unique identity of being together through all days, building a new genre of DAYS-POP with their boundless charm.

The debut title track 'OoWee' features a soulful melody harmonized with hip-hop elements, while the groove of the 808 bass drives the song's flow in an addictively strong way. In particular, the music video playfully and charmingly portrays the mischievous NOWADAYS transformed into an Anti Love Squad. In a world where love is a sin and Cupid is an enemy, NOWADAYS is wary of the excitement of first love and tries to catch Cupid. However, they eventually embrace the emotion of ‘love’ as the sole light in a bleak world, and, struck by Cupid's arrow, express the moment of falling in love with their trendy catchphrase ‘OoWee’.

With its thrilling, surging energy and powerful performance, ‘NOW’, which garnered much global fan attention even before debut, is a breakbeat track featuring a dynamic bassline and hybrid EDM elements. The five members, stepping onto the stage where their dream journey begins, seize the key to unleash their dreams and convey a strong ambition to head towards endless tomorrows.

The final track 'TICKET' is a pop song that will capture the hearts of those who want to leave their boring daily routines behind and embark on an adventure. Starting with an airplane notification sound, elements reminiscent of airplane takeoff and landing enhance the song's immersion.

Additionally, members Jinhyuk and Siyun participated in writing the lyrics for ‘OoWee’ and ‘TICKET’, enhancing the completeness of the debut album. This not only showcases NOWADAYS' musical potential but also sparks anticipation for the new generation DAYS-POP genre they will present to the public.
