‘A completely different concept’ PRIMROSE releases single album ‘REVIVAL’!

Decoding ancient Norse mythology into the language of K-POP

The four-member girl group PRIMROSE returns with unique music

PRIMROSE has returned, growing even more with new music. This album, ‘REVIVAL,’ showcases a new look by capturing the concept and worldview based on Norse mythology. 

The title track of REVIVAL, ‘Freyja,’ is an attempt to reinterpret the image of ‘Freyja,’ a representative goddess of Norse mythology, in a K-POP style. Through this unconventional experiment with producers BIBLEIN, BILDUP, and others recognized both domestically and internationally, a new style of K-POP is born, combining the grandeur of an orchestra with the dazzling beats of Hyper Trap. 

In addition, the addictive dance break part in the style of slow EDM leaves a lingering impression on the listener even after the song ends, and at the same time, it is a hooking point that allows you to enjoy PRIMROSE's dance together. Accordingly, PRIMROSE plans to introduce Freyja not only to domestic fans but also to overseas fans, especially Nordic fans who are enthusiastic about EDM. 

“IT’S TIME TO REBUILD”

In the title Freyja, the four PRIMROSE members symbolize the four guardians chosen by the goddess Freyja. While singing about the will to restore the world in the face of hardship and adversity in a collapsed world, the different charms and colors of the PRIMROSE members blend harmoniously into the song, further strengthening the unique worldview. 

Also, PRIMROSE's message is not limited to the worldview. Through Freyja, PRIMROSE conveys the same message to people listening to the song in reality. “Even if you face hardship and adversity in a collapsed daily life, PRIMROSE will be your strength.”
