Rooftop Moonlight's laborious fortieth year, who have silently shouted 'You've worked hard today',
Third full-length album [40]
There is a moment when everyone has been indebted to Rooftop Moonlight's music. Their musical role of reaching out when my youth feels shabby is clear. "Rooftop Moonlight is an icon of comfort and healing." However, there must have been agony and weight experienced by the artist in this sentence that is embedded like a proposition.
Rooftop Moonlight once revealed in an interview, "As I write music, I gradually have less to say." They said that they don't know what kind of message to approach the public with anymore because they have gathered and unfolded all the comfort they can give. After a long period of contemplation, Rooftop Moonlight is releasing their third full-length album [40], which was written with pencils sharpened to a point.
The full-length album [40] contains Rooftop Moonlight's extremely personal and humanistic joys and sorrows. Kim Yoon-joo and Park Se-jin, who have been singing together since their 20s, are now forty (40) years old. It is difficult to define the weight of accumulated time in one sentence. After spending this time, their view of the world has become a little lazy, and to some extent, it has become indifferent. Also, regardless of time, there are still hardships that make them collapse. The 11 tracks on the full-length album were born from intensely simmering and reducing the story of Rooftop Moonlight's 'maturity' and 'growth'.
The meaning of 'maturity' and 'growth' contained in the full-length album [40] is closer to the meaning of 'flow' than the concept of becoming bigger and developing. What stories are Rooftop Moonlight still keeping or changing as this heavy time flows? Perhaps there is a strange conviction that these self-confessional tracks will approach people as 'Rooftop Moonlight-like comfort'.
01. Rooftop Radio 6
Also included in this full-length album. The topic of the chat is, of course, our age.
02. Self-Introduction
I'm still lacking and awkward, but I'm 40 years old, and I've learned a lot of new things.
03. Diving
Looking forward to the day when I can come back up from the very bottom.
04. Dwayne Johnson
When I feel like I want to be strong. Dwayne Johnson's face pops up. What does it mean to be strong?
05. I Promise I Won't Die
Maybe this is what I want to hear the most right now.
06. Thirty
I look quite grown up, but in fact, it's a series of days when work, love, and dreams are just shaking. Thirty.
07. Advertisement
I still don't know what I want to hide and what I want to show.
08. Special Idiot
I drew a day when I felt like an idiot. It's my story, but it's our portrait that you can believe even if it's your story.
09. Soliloquy
Familiar love and familiar emotions can provide stability, but they can also convey a lazy heart.
10. I Hope No One Knows
Following the night when I wish I could disappear and no one is okay, I 그대로 담았다.
How grateful I would be if someone found my dark shadow and pretended not to know.
11. A Person Who Can Start
A person who can move, think, and has the mind to leave.
If you have even one of these, you are already ready to start anew.
