MONSTA X's first unit, Shownu X Hyungwon, presents a perfect combination. 

'THE UNSEEN' is Shownu X Hyungwon's first mini-album, formed as a unit 8 years after MONSTA X's debut, and contains the special synergy of the two in terms of vocals, performance, and visuals. Each of their capabilities, built up while working as a main dancer, producer, and vocalist, are revealed with diverse charms in this unit. And the two's 'similar yet different' performance will provide a unique experience. 

'THE UNSEEN' contains Shownu X Hyungwon's perspective of facing the numerous 'me's that exist in the eyes of others. Depending on my words and actions shown in reality, and the 'gaze' that changes depending on the person who accepts that appearance, people interpret 'me' and create another 'me'. 'Me' in numerous gazes. Sometimes I get confused about what my real self is, but this album contains Shownu X Hyungwon's way of love to become your own 'me' that you willingly love, because the 'me' in the eyes of others was also 'me', and the 'me' that you love was also my appearance.

You seeing me, me seeing you 'Love Me A Little'

People interpret 'me' based on my words and actions shown in reality and create another 'me'. What kind of face, what kind of person do 'I' exist as to the people who have a relationship with 'me'? How many 'me's exist in the world?

Shownu X Hyungwon sing about 'relationships with strangers, and the trust and certainty in each other that exists within them'. The process of turning these questions about relationships into exclamation marks has been newly reinterpreted through the similar yet different teamwork of Shownu X Hyungwon. 

The title song 'Love Me A Little' depicts the conflicting feelings between my true self and the self that the other person wants, and the two members' delicate and edgy vocals and performance leave a deep impression. In particular, Hyungwon took charge of producing the title song himself, expressing it in Shownu X Hyungwon's own style with addictive yet diverse charms, and Shownu also participated directly in the performance with the choreography team Freemind to further enhance the completeness.

The music video leads the narrative by facing numerous 'me's of different appearances that are constantly increasing. By depicting their appearance in various situations, they convey the charm of vivid reality and dreamy fantasy, and at the same time, they express the acceptance and denial of infinite gazes from various perspectives, and Shownu X Hyungwon's appearance, which depicts the endless longing and agony for the original 'me', helps to immerse the song. It depicts the process of finding the real me, who is like me, through the me that others want, the me of the present, the me that passes by countless people in everyday life, and the me trapped in prejudice and misunderstanding. 

Shownu X Hyungwon's attractive intersection is melted into the entire album. From 'Love Therapy' in the Hybrid Pop style, which features the two's simple yet mournful vocals, Hyungwon's other self-composed song 'Roll With Me' with its unique composition, 'Play Me' which depicts the subtle feelings of love and hate for the other person, to 'Slow Dance' which features sweet vocals, the two have built their own world more solidly with music that is different from when they were in MONSTA X. 

Shownu X Hyungwon, the first unit of the 9-year-old group MONSTA X, presents a relaxed attitude that is neither lacking nor excessive through this album. While proving their musical spectrum that they have built up over the years, Shownu X Hyungwon, who have a team work of trust built up over a long period of time, delicately unravelled details and relaxation, are expected to captivate global fans with a darker and more mature appearance as they expand their own world.
