About SM Jazz Trio
Bassist Hwang Ho-gyu, drummer Kim Jong-guk, and jazz pianist Yohan Kim, who are receiving the most attention in the jazz scene, have come together to form the first jazz trio of a K-POP agency. SM Jazz Trio, who debuted in 2024 with ‘Supernova (Jazz Ver.)’, is showcasing unique music by releasing ’11:11 (Jazz Ver.)’ and the first original track ‘Prometheus’ in 2025. SM Jazz Trio, which presents a new sound by crossing the boundaries of different genres, continues to expand its musical horizons.
‘PINK NOTE’ combines the musical grammar of jazz and the dual meaning of ‘Blue Note’, which refers to a symbolic jazz club, with ‘Pink Blood’, which contains SM's identity, presenting the vision that SM Jazz Trio aims to pursue, with the meaning of a feast of jazz trio ensemble on a new scale called ‘Pink Note’ unfolding in the jazz club ‘Pink Note’ in the wilderness.
