Son Byung-hwi 9th Album <Someday We Will>
Son Byung-hwi, who started his music career in the folk group Norea Maeul in his youth and is now releasing his 9th solo album, is a popular musician who has inherited the tradition of the minstrel. Although he has a strong image as a social activist to the public, he has been thinking a lot about singing songs that comfort people while going through the pandemic. This 9th album adds to the quality of the lyrics by collaborating with writers Do Jong-hwan (Wild Chrysanthemum), Ahn Do-hyun (Autumn Postcard), and Moon Eun-ah (A Good Day to Make Excuses). Son Byung-hwi's unique metaphorical message to the world remains the same. The 9th album, which was co-arranged by long-time colleagues Cho Sung-woo (guitar) and Jung Eun-joo (keyboard, accordion), doubles the fun of listening with a composition that shows the essence of folk rock, from the clear sound of the electric guitar and delicate folk guitar to the appropriate sound source of the keyboard and accordion. The mature performance of Park Woo-jin (bass guitar) and Song Ki-jeong (drums) is a bonus.
