The Swings Upgrade album series are works that Swings has created over 16 years. He has always loved developing in various aspects, and has often proven this through his recent successful diet, the successful establishment of AP Alchemy, and his long-standing activities as a major artist from the underground. There are several reasons why this album is titled "Upgrade 5". Although it has been three full years since Swings signed a contract as an artist with the major company P NATION, he had not released a single album. The longer he waited, the greater the pressure became. It was also the first time in Swings' long 17-year career that he had not been active for such a long period as an artist. He has undoubtedly faced much doubt and disappointment. Furthermore, along with Swings' career, his actual age has also increased, and within the hip-hop genre which highly values youthful energy, there was doubt whether Swings, who had been inactive for three years, could still exude that youthful energy. Therefore, wouldn't a head-on challenge be the cleanest comeback? New sound, a new album returning after a very long time, a new company, and after COVID-19, after major hip-hop-supporting broadcasts like Show Me The Money all ended, this new era. It is in this new era that he must prove his value once again, which is why he chose such a challenging album title.

Considering this is the peak period of his 17-year career in terms of recognition alone, this album will be the most important album in Swings' career.
