There's a saying that "only farewells are life." In a way, every moment is both a farewell and a new encounter.
Perhaps because farewells feel bigger, memories of the past are poignant. They are sad yet sweet, painful yet affectionate. Farewells in memory are always clumsy, and the lingering feeling of that loss is particularly heartbreaking. This album is also a record to send off all partings well. It could be people, it could be times, it could be coincidence or fate. There is no good or bad way to approach farewells, but I have included a heart that wishes for farewell. I hope that we can savor the past from time to time, rather than cutting it off or being swept away by it. I believe that it will allow us to focus on the present and enjoy the coming day even more.
